Usha Ramlakhan, MS, MA Education Psychologist
Executive Director, Psychoeducational Assessments

Usha Ramlakhan has 14 years’ experience in the field of counseling, with 13 years as an adjunct lecturer at tertiary level. She is proficient in Coaching, Career Counseling, Curriculum Development, and Corporate Training. Ms. Ramlakhan has worked as a school psychologist with the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago conducting psychoeducational assessments, providing counseling, conducting professional development trainings for educators, and facilitating parent workshops.

Venus Panchoo

Venus Pancho, MS
Trauma Therapist

Venus Panchoo boasts a decade of experience counseling teenagers and adults, focusing on various educational hurdles like behavioral issues, study skills, bullying, anger management, and trauma intervention. As a career counselor, she assists young adults in understanding their personalities and interests for future planning, providing guidance on educational and career paths. Trained in critical incident stress debriefing, she has participated in humanitarian missions, including visits to Dominica. Recently, she authored an online COVID-19 booklet aimed at helping teenagers navigate emotions, coping strategies, and activities for managing challenges like social distancing.

Clifton Dupigney is an energetic, charismatic, humorous, and inspirational individual who loves God and people. He is into full-time professional counseling since 2005, after counseling with various companies now has his own private practice in Tunapuna and is a lecturer at tertiary level. Has acquired MA in Counseling, and is a certified mediator in Trinidad and Tobago.

Rachel Sealy

Marriage & Family Therapist

Rachel J. Sealy is a Marriage, Couple and Family Life Therapist who is able to provide current information, specialized techniques, and who possess the ability to increase the skills set of individuals towards their understanding, assessment, and problem-solving of issues and challenges experienced within marital, couple, and family dynamics. Graduating from Walden University with her Masters in Marriage, Family and Couple Counseling in 2017, Rachel has an active practice, is a sought after speaker at seminars and conferences, and also serve as an Adjunct lecturer in the Family and Consumer Program at the University of the Southern Caribbean. Her life mission and passion is to help build better families for a stronger society.

Terry John

Counseling Psychologist

Terry John has 18 prolific years of experience in professional counselling. He holds a Masters of Science in Counselling Psychology (MSc) from UWI Mona, Jamaica as well as a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Theology (MAPTh) from Inter-America Theological Seminary (IATS) Miami, Florida USA. He is well placed and experienced to provide Psychological Psychotherapy Services, Pastoral Counseling, Spiritual Guidance, Mentorship & Chaplaincy. Terry John is competent and experienced and qualified to provide services in a vast array of therapies to address developmental, behavioural, psychological conditions.

Lisa Marcano

Lisa Marcano, MSc.
Clinical Psychologist, Psychoeducational Assessments

Lisa Marcano professional practice includes psychological evaluations and the delivery of psychotherapy, especially working with those afflicted with depression and anxiety. Ms. Marcano also has experience providing psychometric evaluation services to organizations seeking to ensure job-fit in their recruitment efforts. Twenty years in education makes her ideal for training and development. It also has given her considerable background in working with children and families. Ms. Marcano produces psycho-educational assessments for children up to age 16 years and provides therapeutic intervention for both young children and adolescent groups.

Asha Garib (2)

Asha Garib, MSc
Clinical Psychologist, Psychoeducational Assessments

Asha Garib earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2008 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2015 from the University of the West Indies. She is proficient in individual counselling for children, teenagers and adults as well as group therapy geared towards treating specific concerns such as dealing with grief and loss and other mental health issues such as Depression, Anxiety and Stress Management. She has a special interest in trauma related matters, particularly sexual violence against males and females. Ms. Garib practice is in conducting psychological evaluations and psychoeducational assessments, the latter particularly for primary and secondary school-based populations and provides in-depth analysis and reports. She has worked in the public and private sector and actively champions’ mental health in our nation.

Toni Betaudier, MEd. Masters in Education an emphasis in School Psychology, Psychoeducational Assessments

Toni Betaudier is a School Psychologist who earned her Masters of Education degree in School Psychology from Pennsylvania State University in 2008. While abroad she worked for school districts in Pennsylvania and Florida. After returning home, Toni has worked as a school psychologist with the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago, a non-profit therapeutic clinic, and as a private practitioner. Her professional experience includes conducting psychoeducational assessments, providing counselling, conducting professional development trainings for educators, and facilitating parent support groups. Toni has conducted sex education trainings for parents of children with disabilities around Trinidad and Tobago. Her other professional areas of interest are literacy, diversity and social emotional learning.

Cindy Blades, MSc
Speech Therapist

Cindy Blades has a Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Canterbury – New Zealand and is also a trained teacher. She is passionate about supporting children and adults with their communication. She works with children and their families in a fun and natural way to treat speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders. She works with Multidisciplinary Teams to remediate the speech, language, memory and attention of those who have experienced a stroke, or who may be living with other neurological conditions like Parkinson’s disease. In her words, “Everyone can contribute and participate in their own way, and it’s my role to help them find their voice, and have their say.”
